Kyle Stuefer

Owner/Builder

Kyle started Heartland Red Construction, LLC after many years in the construction field. He wanted to create a customer-oriented business that was transparent with pricing and options with no pressure, so Heartland Red was born. Kyle handles the bid, permit, and construction of your project. When he isn’t working, Kyle enjoys fishing, hunting, Husker football, Golden State basketball, and spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Lennard "Ray" Miller

Owner/Builder

Lennard accompanies Kyle at every project, and he always has a huge smile on his face. He’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and he’s an extremely hard worker. When he isn’t working, Lennard enjoys building and modifying vehicles, making music, watching the Huskers and the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his family.

We aren’t salespeople

We pride ourselves on being a great builder, not a sales team. We will provide a free bid for your project and discuss options to ensure you are informed and get exactly what you want. We will never “upsell” you, spam you, or call you repeatedly. We are honest and transparent, which brings us to the next reason…

We are all owners

All of us at Heartland Red Construction are owners. We don’t have hourly employees. From beginning to end, your project is managed by the company's owners, so you have peace of mind knowing it will be handled properly.

We are licensed and insured

The first question you should always ask a contractor is are you licensed and insured? Make sure they prove it. We’ve heard too many horror stories about contractors with no insurance or not pulling proper permits. After we review your project, we will email a proposal that includes copies of our license and insurance. We want you to be confident that you’ve chosen the right builder for the job.

We are qualified

We take pride in our certifications, business associations, and awards. We are the only TimberTech Platinum Contractor, Fiberon Outdoor Expert, and Westbury Certified Master Pro. We are proud members of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL) and the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA). We won a national award from NADRA for one of our deck builds, and we were awarded the Guildmaster with Highest Distinction award from GuildQuality three consecutive years.

Showroom

Our showroom houses all of the products we install, so you can see them in person. Instead of ordering samples and waiting for shipment, you can visit our showroom and take as many samples as you need! If you’re interested in visiting our showroom, please contact us to schedule a time.

Quick Proposals

We typically do our bids on Friday and Saturday each week. Once we visit your location, we will send you a proposal within 24 hours. We want to get a proposal to you as quickly as possible so you can focus on making a decision instead of waiting.

Price lock

Ever been given a price for work, only to have them add more to the final bill? It’s not fun. We will never do that. The price in your proposal is final unless you make changes along the way.
